A vast majority of people who suffer from fatigue and anxiety are over thinkers. Many of their thoughts are weighted down with worry and what’s to come – things they have very little control over. Worry turns to fear. Fear has a way of taking the joy out of life. It’s like a dark cloud you invite into your world.
If you feel you are all alone and tasked with surviving life, this is your call to action. To stand down the forces of evil trying to convince you that you are powerless to create real change in your life. Real change takes both Divine and human action. Walking in faith is believing that you can be an overcomer.
Whenever you are in the midst of unkind emotions and thoughts, think of being kind to yourself by protecting yourself, shielding yourself and distancing yourself from them. No one can take this first step in recognizing what is happening but you. Pay attention to when they begin to creep into your mind and create discord. Get help to get out of your head. If you don’t you will suffer from power leaks. Power leaks only create more discord and displeasure with life.
If you have a healthy and robust prayer life with your Maker and make the effort to focus on everything that is going right in your life and the world, you will be able to displace the negative self talk. Ask God to intercede for you, to give you strength to ward off these thoughts and to clear a path to those who can help you let go of things. Thought substitution therapy is the key. That means you can begin starving the bad thoughts by replacing them with good ones. There really is no other way. That is how real change takes place.
If you understand where your power comes from, you are one step closer to getting it back. Your power source, is by design, your spiritual identity. A spiritual being is created with a heart and soul that craves meaning and purpose. That meaning and purpose, and knowing of who you are comes from your Maker. If you don’t have a strong relationship with your Maker, you can’t have a strong, healthy identity.
Committing or re-committing your life to Christ is the only true way to create real change and take back your throne – the seat of your soul. He can give you a new start, wipe away your pain and shame, even your guilt and restore your joy. He will show you how to live life courageously no matter the difficulties you face.
The Holy Spirit, is our helper. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to walk with us after he rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven. He is waiting for you to call out to Him. Invite Him into your life by admitting that you need a savior – someone to save you from your despair and loneliness. He is the one who can show you how to stand down the giants in your life.
If you are ready to call upon the Lord and invite Him into your life, say this simple prayer, “Dear God, please come into my life and breathe new life into me. I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sins. Please reveal the mysteries of your Holy Spirit to me. I ask that you clear a path to those who can help me step into my destiny and get back to the seat of my soul. I can’t do this life without you. Amen.” To strengthen your walk with the Lord, you will need to bath yourself in the Word and surround yourself with Godly people. Click here for sources.
