The Bible says man only dies once. There is no such thing as reincarnation, so don’t hold back! God can create another Shakespeare or Mozart. God is waiting to see what you can do with this gift called life. Will you make your life count, not just for yourself, but for others?
Scientists will tell you that the brain’s primary function is to keep you alive. But that is not a human beings purpose. We are not created to merely survive life either. We are here to thrive. In case you haven’t figured out, the reason we were created isn’t to find the best cup of coffee or the perfect mate nor the dream job. It’s to experience love and grace then give it away.
Has there been a point in your life where you began losing your courage to take risks? Given up on trying for that promotion, enrolling in graduate school or starting a new business? Maybe you’ve settled into a life that is at its best, safe, but mundane — not showcasing your true talents and mirroring your real self worth. Or maybe worse, you see yourself merely keeping ahead of the unseen monster lurking around each corner, robbing you of peace and joy. If this is the case, I would venture to guess that there is something causing you to be stuck in the mindset of a survivor. There is a reason why you feel this way. You are suffering from a growing sense of lack – lack of well-being, courage, strength, prosperity, wealth, health, security. You name it. This growing sense of lack is behind millions of peoples complacency, apathy and injustice program. It is a silent killer.
A growing sense of lack is caused when you attach to self-limiting thought programs, narratives, stories and truths that are not true and not your truth. It’s no different than allowing a virus to corrupt your computer and destroy all your work. Attaching to them means you must detach from your truth. Why would you walk away from yourself like this? When you do, it’s a breeding ground for a personal identity crisis.
A person suffering from an personal identity crisis often looks for someone or something outside of themselves to blame for where they are in life. That is because they don’t like their life and they don’t feel in control of their life and destiny. Fear is generally a pervasive emotion. The blame game is a tell tale sign that you are suffering from an identity crisis because you are turning your power over to someone or something.
